Story behind the song
I started writing this song while I was evacuated from my home due to a wildfire. I intentionally left the lyrics more generic to describe any situation in which you feel helpless to control events in your life.

verse 1:
A lazy day like other days, the sky is bright and blue.
But then you see the rising grey and hope it isn't true.

You better run. Take the things you can and get on out of here.
The time has come when the things you love could all disappear.

Just know that you must get away or else you're gonna burn.
