I'm a composer, orchestrator, and guitar player, writing music for film, t.v., and video games. I love writing lush orchestral works, but also powerful rock jams, and spacey ambient pieces, but also loopy electronic bits, pounding percussion, or scary experimental stuff.

Story behind the song
Ali got me a flute and tamborine in a market in Turkey, and his wife Martha brought them all the way to Los Angeles to give them to me. I felt compelled to do a tune featuring them. It started out with the 15/4 melody of the flute. Then I sampled various sounds of the tamborine, and made some rhythm loops out of them.
