Behind the Beat: 2006-2007, beat was originally produced as a Bachata record but Lu txt'd me of an opportunity and this beat was something i was working on at the time and he wanted something new from me so i sent him this beat without any bachata percussions and we went back and forth sending updates of the production and vocals.
Song placement: I was told said J. Holiday's team did receive the track and Holiday did like the song and rerecorded it but there was an issue of publishing terms for "us" the people involved with the production and writers. I think there was a threat from J. Holiday's team by just taking the track and reproducing and keeping elements of the song but im not sure.
If anyone from J. Holiday's team see these lol let me know this was from 2006-2007, even i'd like to know what happen. I submit many beats for years and so get picked up and some don't for some reason but i never know the end result because im dealing with middle men.
