Hi! This is Charlie B., singer, songwriter, and guitar player for the band Freudian Press. I now play in the band The Sage Experiment. We play the Freudian Press catalog, and more! You can follow me at http://www.facebook.com/sageexperiment Freudian Press started in 1994, performing regularly for audiences in the midwest. The band has gone through a number of line-up changes over the years, and has gone from an acoustic-only band with two hand percussionists to an all-electric band with a set drummer.... all the while featuring both classic rock covers and my original songs. I am a self-taught musician, thus the reason for my playing a right-handed guitar upside-down, as a lefty. I have written and performed more than 50 original songs to date. I am also a published poet, and design and draw posters for Press shows. With a catalog of over 100 cover songs in addition to my original compositions, I'm never lacking material, and have performed in Freudian Press shows that lasted in excess of 5 hours. I am currently still writing, and recording sessions are in the works. The live songs presented on this site were all recording using a hand-held camcorder, and the studio songs were recorded in small home studios or in makeshift basement setups.

Lyrics
The sky brings it's light to a brightwater sea And I, in this vision, still burn to believe Entombed in a crimson shroud burnt and concealed The innocence child will soon be revealed Dance on the rooftops and I'll be right here Caught by the moon casting shadows so clear Falling apart at the innocent notion of fear Arise to the thunderous change of the sky The moon, swift in battle, victorious, cries Another soul fell having grown much to wise With that lost soul, that innocence, still burnt in his eyes Dance on the rooftops and I'll be right here Caught by the moon casting shadows so clear Falling apart at the innocent notion of fear Shine on! Shine on! Burn through this night Bound as the ocean, yet destined to shine Hold on to this vision and grasp it with pride Shine on! Shine on through this night! The elder weaves dreams from lavender field The glory of morning to soon be revealed The mystical voices of shadows unseen In harmony sing with the spirit of dreams Dance on the rooftops and I'll be right here Caught by the moon casting shadows so clear Falling in love and I promise you've nothing to fear Shine on! Shine on! Burn through this night Bound as the ocean, yet destined to shine Hold on to this vision and grasp it with pride Shine on! Shine on through this night!
