Aye G, born February 12, 1991, is a Canadian rapper who is rising in popularity for his freestyle rapping, originality and laid back sound. Born in Burnaby BC, Aye G spent most of his time spare time as a teenager writing lyrics and listening to Rap and Hip-Hop with his friends. After spending years of listening to other freestyle rappers on YouTube Aye G realized he had a good ear for the beats, and though he liked what he heard, he knew he could make it better. With a passion for rap, and Tupac as one of his biggest influences, Aye G began writing his own lyrics based on real life situations that his fans can relate to. During his live performances in clubs, Aye G saw how his fans enjoyed and embraced his music, and it was then he saw his opportunity to seize his potential in the Rap scene. Priding himself on his freestyle skills and ability to make his lyrics fit any beat, Aye G focused on releasing music that was laid back and mellow compared to other artists of his genre. Aye G also strives to work with versatility and an open mind for sound on his side, believing that anyone can listen to, and enjoy his music, not just Hip-Hop fans. Aye G hopes to eventually do mixes collaborating with artists of various different genres.
