Story behind the song
For the last two years my songwriting has been at a crawl, but one night last September I was fooling around with my synth and found a pre-programmed combination of sounds that I quickly wrote up a verse melody and then a chorus melody that became the foundation of an instrumental version. Then over the next couple of months some words starting popping into my head as I would listen to the recording, and they evolved into this casual description of one way how the Holy Spirit works on earth today.

How God’s Son went to that hill He had to climb,
Cruelly made to suffer, guilty of no crime.
