Lyrics
0:10 The days are short The daze seems to dream long Eyes cry this is poetry Hard times expressed into song Painted passionately into pictures When I die they’ll call’em scriptures Demonstrations of emotions bonded with soul 0:21 I’m here to take us to a higher place a state of grace I’m here to equalize the human race and give us faith Who started the worst ways of the race case in the first place In clouded memories misplaced dreams we need to touch base I feel my heart race whole way of thinking is knowledge based I’m real I speak from the heart feel our steps need to be retraced With truth so we can shine a positive light on our youth Build them a new foundation solidifying our roots Things change because of the people not the politics Understand what we have in common is our conflicts An unbreakable belief of being able to breath free Life love and the pursuit of happiness the peoples common dream Liberty began to question an obsession with oppression Echoing the wrong impression where concepts await correction People suppressed by poverty while wealth is controlled by nations Politics without principle economic strangulation The only way we’ll be freed of these chains of discrimination Is to teach reach and recreate a generation’s perception The only thing they know suppression left with our devastation A boulevard of broken dreams still awaiting compensation Infatuation pursuing perfect pictures with a passion Like Dr. Martin Luther King no dreams achieved without action See the need in the eyes of youth to be freed from disbelief See them bleed tears feeling the grief of living life on the streets Are we all doomed dead on arrival all rivals packing a piece I look to the heavens many questions when will the pain cease With so much to teach too much to change will they ever be reached Hear their cries fears they’re being consumed will there ever be peace Constant responses constantly cautiously lead them to freedom Who will teach them who will reach them who will finally free them Seems it’s just us and in the end they’ll never trust us Our words and phrases rhyme for freedom rhyme for just us Many roads to be taken life is what we make it Might not be there with you but we’re still gonna make it As days gone by we cry thinking of the better days Hating hate is still hate it’s never too late to change 1:56

This songs a classic, only thing disappointing about it was knowing there weren't more songs.
