One man recording the cobwebs of his mind; Shall we listen in?
One man singer-songwriter musician. Included here are songs written as far back as the late seventies, up to and including the present day. Four of the songs were recorded in the late 90's and make up an EP called Skies. Other albums include A Man Alone from 2002, and The World At Large from 2005. Since then, songs have been released singly as they've been completed. A new album is now available - Tales Of Love And Defiance (talesofloveanddefiance.com)

Story behind the song
One of the first songs I learned to edit properly, it's also one of my favourites. Dates from maybe 1981 or so. Mary was a real person, but the situation as described in the song is very exaggerated. Buy the CD!
Lyrics
Mary Mary how I love your smile Mary Mary love you all the while If I had to make a wish then what would I wish for? Nothing else in all the world can mean as much as When I feel the magic touch that Mary means to me Mary Mary tell me is it true Mary Mary make me dream of you Laughing softly in the fields with flowers in your hair Running barefoot past the trees swaying slowly in the breeze It’s summer days that Mary means to me Mary Mary before it’s light again Mary Mary I’ll kiss you if I can Sometimes we stop, just to watch the clouds roll by Let me take your hand in mine and then we’ll find it’s Everything I need to bring that Mary means to me Mary Mary beneath the setting sun Mary Mary when the day is done Will you come inside with me and sit beside the fire Soon the day will start again and then we’ll find it’s Everything could ever be that Mary means to me
