Very nice tribute and yes, cool pickin' indeed!
My/Our Dear Friend Al, Thank you for your superlative comment on this song! And you are so astute and facile. For just seconds prior to your commenting, I was in the process of cropping the artpic of GREAT ROGER JOHN and by accident you only saw the "outake" photo of RJ which was just a blur or abstract of hues. NOW you should find the excellent likeness of THE SoundClick Roger John - your musician friend and ours as well as so many others on SC and elsewhere. Also, JBBQ's song description for "Have You Heard Roger John?" is now added so there should be no further problems in identifying the right RJ - ha. Like the old TV quiz program of "What's My Line" which asked the final question - "Will the REAL (Roger John) please stand up? - lol. Thanks again, Al Massey, aka Ascenzion - YOU WONDERFUL MUSICIAN AND FRIEND!! Bob (and the JBBQ "Guys")

What splendid guitar pickin' my friend. Great fluidity throughout this delightful tune. I was tapping my feet from start to finish. Hmm...interesting song title. Do I dare ask the back story behind this? :) Roger John is one of SC's premier folk blues songwriters. A great tribute... Or is this not the Roger? Anyway, always a enjoyably experience at your site... Thanks
