An amateur Songwriter/Musician a work in progress
I've played in a few cover bands, started off playing lead guitar ended up playing bass, drums and even keyboards a few times and although it was fun never had any great success. I'm now more of an amateur song writer and trying very hard to come up with some songs that might impress someone enough to want to record them.

Lyrics
Verse 1 No matter how I try It seems I can't let go Of all these feelings deep inside That seem to grow and grow I have cried so many tears That my eyes are almost dry These overwhelming fears inside Are the things that me make cry but Chorus No matter how I try No matter what I do No matter what I say I can't get through to you Verse 2 I wish they would just dissapear With the passing by of time It seems I do a sentence Yet I haven't done a crime I wish you would just listen Take the time to comprehend I need you to take notice I need you to be a friend Chorus No matter how I try No matter what I do No matter what I say I can't get through to you Verse 3 The hurtful words you throw at me They hurt deep down inside I am not an old toy doll That you can cast aside You think your words are empty You think your words are smart Do you think about the damage They do here in my heart Chorus No matter how I try No matter what I do No matter what I say I can't get through to you Verse 4 Sometimes I start to question Why it should be me Sometimes I start to question Why I can't be free Sometimes I start to question The choices I should make At the crossroads I am standing at I wonder which road I should take Chorus No matter how I try No matter what I do No matter what I say I can't get through to you Words By Daryl P & Rebecca J Hall
