She said, “You and me should take a walk over by the payphone down the hall.” I said, “Honey, oh honey I’m trying not to fall.” She said, “Don’t you want to put to use that little barfly in us all.” What you gonna say to that? I don’t remember anything else about that night well that’s all right. I just fill in the missing pieces when I’m in my bed. It helps me keep you glorified. I can still see your tattoo. Sort of wanna forget it, sort of want to relive it. If I ever see your number on a bathroom stall, maybe I’ll call. What do you say to that?
