I am Chance Cold, The Alabama Christian. I am a soldier and rider for Christ. I have and find NO shame in sayin I am a full Representin' Christian. My music is always real reality. I never spit fabrications or lies. If I spit it I either experienced it, survived it, or witnessed it at an extremely close level. I just do not see the point in making up stories. My songs are still street except they do not glorify the streets they tell the truth about them, about how they take lives away slowly or in the blink of an eye. Everything I record has a positive message and always will. I am here to help and save others. Well, I'm not saving anyone, Christ is, I'm merely a vessel. Everything I write and record is fueled by the Spirit and I'm not afraid to call people out on their lies either. This music is driven by God therefore meaning it will reach masses. Story behind the song
This song was written to accept the blame for what I put my family through. In 2005 I was raided by the FBI and local police in LaVergne Tennessee. They had set me up with an informant and recorded the informant making several purchases from me over a period of time. Once they had enough for their case, they raided my home where my 2 year old daughter lived as well as her mother. I blamed everyone but myself back then when really it was all my fault because of the lifestyle I chose to live. December 13 2008 Jesus Christ pulled me from the darkness and told me "You WILL use your past to glorify ME as I AM THE ONLY REASON YOU ARE ALIVE!" - Therefore I Glorify Him and show people the OTHER SIDE of the street life.
