About God's sovereignty, God's will/man's free will
progressive pop jazz blues country christian contemporary melody celtic orchestral bible sax musette
Many genres, Contemporary Christian, Lyrics, instrumentals
I write my own songs ;) I have a very diverse taste in music, from Pop to Classical, including Rock, Folk, Jazz, Country, World Music (Celtic, Romanian), Old Timey Stringband/Bluegrass, and Latin. All these styles are in my Christian Contemporary catagory. I usually write the music first, and then put words to the music. Though I don't sing good enough yet, I though I would put my instrumentals out along with my music. Generally, I think my music/lyrics are getting better, being more skilled now than when I started.

Story behind the song
The music for this song was 'Wireless' because that was the 'dummy title' that I first thought up. Then, I thought about 'Cordless', like breaking the cords of sin, like in the bible. These both had possiblities but... Then, I was listening to Family Life Today (with Dennis Rainey) on the radio in the car. It had Kathie Reimer and Lisa Whittle on talking about their book, The Seven Hardest Things God Asks a Woman to Do (May 6, 2011). They got into the subject of God's guidence, whether to wait for God to act, or to step out in faith. That is in verse two. The rest of the song came together from other notes I had.
Lyrics
I Know That God Is In Control Intro/Outro: God is all powerful He is One wonderful He is the King of kings forever He is the loving One And He laid down His Son And ev'rything will turn out good. I know that God is in control Despite the evidence that shows The evil breaking and the aching tragedies, I wonder why? Can not the just give God their trust to do what's righteous in His sight. I know that God is in control Despite our free will and free won'ts Should I proceed as God will lead or do I hesitate with fear? Should I be testing or be resting in the Spirit that is here? I know that God is in control But he has given us a role He's the creator, we're bit players in His vast scen-ar-i-o And it's God's story, for His glory, and that's simply all we know.
