Another Damn Demo Has the talent to make me or break me. Country Music, It's not just for rednecks anymore
As I'm a songwriter, all my songs are performed by the same people that I've been associated with for awhile. The Vocals are superb, and I always receive feedback eluding to that effect after shopping each new demo. I've been fortunate to have three songs that have been offered publishing contracts for songs that they have performed for me.

Story behind the song
I received an email from a publisher after sending him an unsolicited demo of one of my songs. He was thrilled by the song, told me how talented I was and so forth. After about a month and a half of emailing back and forth, I noticed how at certain times his emails were incoherrent, and sometimes totally screwy.Even though this company had some an impressive track record, I withdrew my song from any offer or consideration because this guy seemed to be having some emotional problems, and I think his presciptions were effecting his ability to make sense. The second line in the first verse is attributed to his attitude and was the basis for the song. Here is that second line: "No suit wearing executive tells me what to do"
Lyrics
I'm ah Red Blooded Rebel, Red, White, and Blue, No suit wearing executive, tells me what to do, I play country music, the way it's meant to be, They didn't stop Merle Haggard, they ain't stopping me. . When the bartender yells,"HEY IT'S LAST CALL" I don't put down my guitar for no one at all, I sing from the heart, play what I want to, I'm a Red Blooded Rebel, Red, White, and Blue. . B R E A K I play county fairs, all the Honky Tonks to, Wedding receptions (pause)well I've played one or two, No matter where I'm playing, I remain loud and true, I'm ah Red Blooded Rebel, Red, White, and Blue . When there's dancers on the floor, the bouncer blocks the door, I jack up the volume, ah notch or two more, They tried to stop Merle Haggard, they'll try to stop me to, Cause I'm ah Red Blooded Rebel, Red, White, and Blue. . When the bartender yells, "HEY, IT'S LAST CALL" I don't put down my guitar, for no one at all, I sing from the heart, play what I want to, I'm ah Red Blooded Rebel, Red, White, and Blue, I don't put down my guitar, I sing from the heart, I'm ah Red Blooded Rebel, Red, White, and Blue, Red, White, and Blue. . .
