you know what i found out? that 40% of kids are fatherless. that's a pretty big percent.

Jacob was just 8 years old when he saw his father go out the damn door,
it was up to him to take care of his little brother Timmy,
never did he know why his mother had to carry a 9mili pistol in her pink purse,
he felt he hit rock bottom and it's hard not to think worse,
what if his dad wasn't just a violent abuser, if he saw her again would he go out wileing and shoot her,
he thinks to himself if he'll take the same highway to loser,
what if he kill him in the woods and drag him to lose him,
anyways, Jacob was walking down an avenue thinking about what he's gotta do,
mama got him with an attitude,
but he respects the fact if he talks back she'll slap a tooth,
cussing and fussing while listening to rappers explaining what the gat will do,
Jacob turned to his side to tell Timmy to go in the store for a bag of fruit,
everybody knew not to mess with Timmy cuz Jacob will come after you.

Jacob's sister that is 2months younger than him ran to lock the door,

blood flowing, her throat choking, eyes and mouth wide open,
Mama's on the phone calling the 5.0 over,
she trembles to look out the peep hole, she sees a good 30 people,
holding shotguns cocked and loaded,
she never thought she'd owed him, Jacob peeks out the blinds and swears he knows him,
Jacob tells KeeKee and Timmy to hide in the room,
there might be some fighting real soon,
don't worry cuz me and mama got you,
the man outside starts yelling real loud, banging the door, you better come out,
you don't me to knock down this door down to the ground,
Mama starts crawling trying to take Jacob to the room,
Jacob couldn't snap out of the view,
come on n*** , open the door,
the operator on the phone updating Mama that the cops are stepping pedals to the floor,
just be careful not to step and open up the door,
Jacob slips out of her arms, Mama turns to check on Timmy and KeeKee to see how they was,
they're crying their eyes,
Jacob creeps out the bedroom door and runs out under the porch light,
the man pulls the trigger and lets the pistol unload,
before Jacob hit the floor, he stood with a smile of surprise and cheers, daddy.
