Story behind the song
Now I know what the “loyal fans” are thinking… why did you choose “Here I Go” to be the first single and why did you make the song. So I’m going to answer that question for you guys.
The reason I created “Here I Go” was because of how I was feeling at the moment, if you really listened to “Here I Go” you would have felt a little anger in the song just a little not too much. Just a lot of things happened last year and I felt the best way to let you guys know about it was through music. The first verse explains to the listener was there is nothing to worry about, I won’t go commercial and start making a dance single or a garbage a** record that you hear coming out now a days.
However for the second verse there is a lot and I mean a lot more anger in the verse and there is a reason for this. See as I started writing the second verse I just started getting more and more pissed as I was thinking about the past and the things that have happened. One of the things that really pissed me off was getting jumped by 12 dudes yeah really happened was not exaggerating at all it really happened. I was right around the corner from my house and these dumb asses wanted to try me, its crazy because it took 12 of them to get me on the ground and even then, you know what I won’t go into detail about what happened that day or at least I won’t right now I got a better idea.
