Lyrics
Verse One The next Magcon’s prepping away But there seems to be a little bit of tension in ways From a place with more members, long tenure, low passion Sounding bitter ‘cause over there, it’s never happened We’re ahead by three; the envy seems expected “You’re just a default win!”—It’s such a silly message Put your ego aside; it’s getting real pathetic Hearing drivel meant to belittle the magazine successes Maybe I should be posting some different questions-- When along the line was your working ethic neglected? Why are you so quick to retort with such aggression? And why is it that when we succeed, you can’t respect it? And while it’s fact that you first conceived the con design It never came to fruition, and thus it kills your pride The mag’s been doing it yearly, and number four’s gonna clearly Become our best, I mean really—no need to run and hide Hook: Competition is light, and this is rather sad Whatever happened to mighty Pavilion vs. Mag? We prevailed; we’re entitled to brag So, Pavilion…why the hell are you mad? Damn! Verse Two There was trash talk many bitter years ago When Ixz decided to leave and make his very own Little community, destined to be the competition But in the midst of his goal, there loomed the opposition He conquered slimmest of odds to get official status And even then, he was slammed; antagonistic practice The newer members with egos Had thought it perfectly legal To make presumptions ‘bout Magonian people Like, the Mag is only befitting for newbie posting Traffic going slower than sloths; you should be closing Thinking that you’re equal with us, we’ll leave you decimated Why would people visit the Mag? It’s only second-rated! Such an arrogant thinking behind your bluer borders Even the people who never produced a game retort us We have a right to respond, our group is loyal and strong And you’re about to get pawned, so don’t you dare ignore us! Hook: Competition is light, and this is rather sad Whatever happened to mighty Pavilion vs. Mag? We prevailed; we’re entitled to brag So, Pavilion…why the hell are you mad? Damn! Verse Three I saw the vid responses I had a chuckle or so, but overall, it’s nonsense The first guy had to integrate footage from bloopers created yesteryear Talking so atrocious, that I drowned it out with Everclear The second person was a fidgety fool Think: Magibon worshipper, thin as a tool Couldn’t understand a phrase, but he thought he was cool I was sleeping at my desk in a mountain of drool Listen, Valk; I know that you want a super convention But you really need to listen to logic; stop pretending That it’s possible; Uwe Boll winning an Oscar’s more probable Hurry up and lessen all the obstacles Turn a notion that you had into a great event ‘Cause mag is lacking competitors, yet you people vent About our miniature numbers, and yet we’re putting you under With our conventions and stealing all of your thunder (yup)! Hook: Competition is light, and this is rather sad Whatever happened to mighty Pavilion vs. Mag? We prevailed; we’re entitled to brag So, Pavilion…why the hell are you mad? Damn!
