John Garrett and Jeff Brown have been composing music together since they attended high school. They have a huge backlog of material and have written songs in many different styles.
Wow! I keep finding some really obscure stuff. It is amazing what you will find laying around when you have recorded music for like 30 years. This was something that John had done the basic parts for, Drums, Bass and Piano. All I can figure is that I had it and just put what appears to be 3 guitar tracks, 2 parts for the little repeating melody and a solo. I'm Guessing John for whatever reason never got around to putting words on it and I just had this version with the guitar solo on it and made a quick mix. Pretty sure we were planning on making it a complete song with lyrics, it just never happend unless I find a complete version I don't know about too. Anything is possible. Definitly some mistakes on the solo, which is why we never considered it finished I'm sure. But It's nice to listen to and hear where our minds were at this time, Which guessing from the sound of the equipment used I would guess 1987 or so, but who knows. I know some of this really old stuff is super noisy, thank god I have the technology available today to put it in the computer and clean it up.
