Story behind the song
A lot of you have heard of the popular internet song, "1st Ladi - Never Be Replaced". This is actually the original version (instrumental), except it is an updated version. Here's a little history on the song. my close friend, Tommy, had written the tune way back when we were starting to write our own music. then at a jam session at Chan's house, he played it again on the Korg keyboard. Then I decided that night, when I get home I'll start on my own version of the tune. and so there's the "version 1", which is just bells and strings. no lyrics were written for it yet (this was while I was still using my RS Trax page) then came "version 2 with the 2-step remix", which is the most popular one. The version that 1st Lady asked to sing over. she recorded and had it up on her page. and somehow it got spread all over SoundClick and even AsianAvenue, so i've been told.. the bad thing was i didn't even get credited for my part. and now there're imitation remakes all over the place, haha. it's funny.. well anyway, i think i'll be uploading the original "version 2 + 2-step remix" back up for the heck of it. and to clear things up, i'll even copy/paste this in the Lyrics/Story, puhahaha! thanks. peace and respect! // Roth (RS Trax)
