An amateur Songwriter/Musician a work in progress
I've played in a few cover bands, started off playing lead guitar ended up playing bass, drums and even keyboards a few times and although it was fun never had any great success. I'm now more of an amateur song writer and trying very hard to come up with some songs that might impress someone enough to want to record them.

Story behind the song
Based on the story of the film "Runaway Bride" starring Julia Roberts
Lyrics
Runaway Bride 1. She was a raven haired beauty, That no man could tame But she loved the thrill of the chase, and Maggie was her name Cos she fell in and out off love No man ever seemed to be good enough And on her way to the alter Doubt made her stumble and falter This was one knot that wouldn't be tied c. She's a runaway bride Carried away on the tied She'll cast you aside She's a runaway bride 2. There were tears in the eyes of all the men she left behind Captivated by her beauty, In a flash their love made them blind Her indecision caused so much pain The news hit them like a runaway train And with red sky in the morning Came the shepherds warning She was up and over the hillside 3. Is there one right person in this world for everyone Is it all down to attraction that makes her think that their the one Booked the church the reception the dress Outside perfection, inside a mess Would she follow through this time Would this wedding day be sublime But every up has it's downside
