An amateur Songwriter/Musician a work in progress
I've played in a few cover bands, started off playing lead guitar ended up playing bass, drums and even keyboards a few times and although it was fun never had any great success. I'm now more of an amateur song writer and trying very hard to come up with some songs that might impress someone enough to want to record them.

Story behind the song
About us all having our cross to bear
Lyrics
Upon us All 1. See a man lying in the street, tattered clothes, shoeless feet Heart aching, Forsaking Look in those lifeless eyes, No winner there's no prize Heartaching, Soul taking Waits for someone to stretch out a helping hand Offer some sympathy in the midst of this wasteland C. Cos Upon us all, A little rain must fall x2 From time to time. 2. See a man out working hard, broken back in an old brickyard By numbers, He never slumbers Just working to get by, low demand high supply Recession, so depressing He can try to run but there's nowhere for him to hide There is no building blocks can hold back this tide 3. See a man in a limosene, feasting on the best cuisene life's easy, bright an breezy Material gain his concern, always another dollar to earn Glory, Success his story But in the midst of night, he takes a turn for the worse One hand grips his chest while the other grips his purse
