Story behind the song
My daughter and I were driving home one day when she said these 3 words (Smells like Rain). The Holy Spirit began nudging me into an in-depth time of worship over a period of days. Teaching me with the analogy of a flower and its petals representing human life and our need for the Water of Life to live in abundance. That without Him we wither up and die inside- always looking for joy that is not found apart from Jesus Christ.
