Story behind the song
A song written about a guy named Bill who had an interesting relationship with his girlfriend. They used to get drunk and beat the snot out of each other, the police usually would end up at the scene and then one, or both of them would go to jail. They always wound up back together a few days later. They'd have another party, get drunk and beat the snot out of each other again. Sounds kind of funny, and in a way, it is. But it's also sad. Sad that alot of people have such a twisted idea of what love means. In this case, it means possession. Bill and his girlfriend hated each other, but because of their own insecurities and fear, they would stay together and just put each other through Hell. I'll bet they're still together...And in jail.
