Story behind the song
The idea started when my drummer, John Antoniadis, had an idea of writing cool, groovy and very rythmic drum samples, while he was figuring aggressive lyrics on top of them to mimic the everyday sh** tha's been happening to the world behind our backs every day, so we wrote them down part by part. Then I tried to write guitar riffs as groovy and metallic as the drum parts was and there it was. With this song in mind I figured it would be proper in the name of experimentation to try tweeking the knobs on my ENGL Steve Morse to find another sound to mark the beggining of the new project and the starting of a new EP. I hope you like the guitar sound, even if it is as it was recorded, raw and pure. I also changed fro DFH Superior to Metal Foundry to give more volume and depth to this song. Dirk Verbeuren's metal foundry preset is used here, customised with some mods..;) Enjoy
