This song deals with life. Sometimes it feels like everything comes at you all at once. Like the old saying "When it rains it pours". We are just going along and then all at once life pours out the rain. We stand there in that rain, facing the trials and tribulations of this life but Jesus is right there to protect us from the storm. We have to remember that the storm will pass, but it will come again, and when it does, remember, Jesus will be right there with you, standing in the Pouring Rain.
