Threshing Floor is Parish Ruth (vocals, guitars), Josh Ruth (bass), and Andy Covington (drums). This formation of the band began in early 2009. Parish and Josh are brothers while Andy joined thru a mutual friend at church. From there we continued to meet at least once a week on the weekends to fellowship, pray then play.

Story behind the song
The hardest thing to do is forgive someone who has deeply scarred your life with pain and anxiety. It is a long process but can be possible thru the power of the Holy Spirit, prayer and encouragement from those who accept and understand what I myself and others have been thru. Revenge or killing the offender would provide immediate release of aggression and short-sited justice. However, you would only become like if not worse than the abuser. "Release" it all by recognizing the undeserved abuse and giving it over to God for healing.
