Lyrics
Verse I: A noun is a person, place, thing or idea.
It can be your best friend,
taking a stroll in the park
or wearing a diamond ring.
Take heed and listen
to these words that I sing because...
Chorus: A noun is a person, place or thing.
Let's do the Noun Get Down, yeah.
Whoah, yes, let's do the Noun Get Down (repeat)
Verse II: There are many types of nouns, ya'll,
in a sentence or phrase. (yeah, yeah, yeah!)
See, one is called a Proper Noun...
like a person's name (John or Jane)
Another is a Common Noun, yeah,
which doesn't capitalize names because
Chorus: (Repeat)
Bridge: Take it to the bridge...
Nouns can be found in your town
Nouners sing it...ooh!
(BG) Just take a look,
they're all around.
And, we're gonna teach ya
how a noun can be found.
(Solo) So, sit back and listen
as we break it down!
