Wrote this when I was playing in that area, in the summer. Went up to the top of the mountain, and was impressed by the view. Also went through the caves (there really was snow in there during the summer !). And we found an abundance of pottery that was made in the area.

Lyrics & Music ? By Pete Dowan (SOCAN)
BLUE MOUNTAIN
1st Verse:
Let us go
We have seen Blue Mountain from below
Let us greet the wind from whence it blows
and perch upon the nose OF
Chorus:
BLUE MOUNTAIN LOOK ACROSS THE BAY FROM ON
BLUE MOUNTAIN BEAUTY IN THE CLAY FROM ON
BLUE MOUNTAIN
2nd Verse:
Way up high
Feelin' like a cousin of the sky
Lookin' down on seagulls as they fly
Like watchin' through the eyes OF
Chorus:
BLUE MOUNTAIN LOOK ACROSS THE BAY FROM ON
BLUE MOUNTAIN BEAUTY IN THE CLAY FROM ON
BLUE MOUNTAIN
Bridge:
If you go there
Wander through the caves down below there
Summer misbehaves there is snow there
Deep within the caves of Blue Mountain ....
3rd Verse:
Winter snow
Bring along your skis and have a go
Gliding to the valley far below
Then ride up on the tow OF
Chorus:
BLUE MOUNTAIN LOOK ACROSS THE BAY FROM ON
BLUE MOUNTAIN BEAUTY IN THE CLAY FROM ON
BLUE MOUNTAIN
Repeat and fade
