Limited Sight Distance is a versatile contemporary rock band. Our original music varies in style from funk/jazz to bouncy modern rock to layered Beatle-like harmonies. At times, the vibe can switch to a pop rock feel, or even old-fashioned instrumental rock and roll.

Story behind the song
This song was written on a whim on a hot summer day by drummer Scott Mariner and guitarist Kevin Paul. A few weeks later, bassist Eric Jaqua heard the jam and wrote a bass line. Words were written by the entire band and Water was born. The song originally featured a whammy bar which gave the tune a "water-like" feel. Due to guitarist Paul's use of a hardtail guitar, the whammy was eventually replaced by a wah pedal.
Lyrics
I was sitting in my room wondering what I would do if I could. Knowing everything I've seen, in my mind I am misunderstood. And I want you, and I want you to tell me that I am wrong. And I want you, and I need you to tell me that for sure I was sitting in my room wondering what I could do if I would. Knowing everything she said, knowing water flows inside the brook. And I want this, and I need this for myself to go on. And I want this, and I need this. That's why I sing this song.
