One of Sydneys most versatile DJs and Owner/Manager of Essential Entertainment (NSW), DJ Johnnys experience scans well over a decade and a half of playing everything from Blue Light Discos in the early days, to birthday parties, social events, pubs, nightclubs, and raves, and all in 3 states of Australia. During the 90s, Johnny was also invited to join South Australias Omega Road Show, taking all the lighting, sound equipment and music youd normally find in a nightclub to some of S.A.s remote areas, and performing to often thousands of people who don?t normally get the chance to experience the atmosphere and music of their city counterparts. It was also during this time that Johnny started his radio career on a community radio station, 5YYY in Whyalla, South Australia. Starting off with just one show a week, it wasn?t long before he found himself co-hosting a breakfast show with Mike Levering and together, taking it to a top rating position and causing concern for their commercial colleagues. This lead to Johnny being offered more timeslots enabling him to not only present, but also produce The Heres Johnny Show, and what would eventually become a top rating program ? one of the first to broadcast Hi NRG, Trance, Hardcore and Gabba live mixes! Since moving to Sydney, DJ Johnny has worked closely with Ezyjuke Entertainment performing throughout Sydney, and in particular, Western Sydney pubs and clubs.
