Really like this song,Jamey. It has a lot of traditional elements...theme, simple accompaniment, clear vocals. What I like about your music is that all the songs are unique...you can't say, 'that sounds like...'. You have your own individuality that comes out in each song... a true troubadour and 'son of the soil' in your own rights. Way to go for a great song. Hats off to you!

Excellent vocals! I had to go check out your equipment page to see what accoustic guitars you have because I could not believe you were getting such a great sound with an ovation you are holding in the picture. Really enjoying your accoustic playing. Very clean, crisp. Thought it was a Martin at first. Nice work!

Jamey, my friend....Howdy, Sounds like someone else has that ramblin' spirit, a tuggin'! That rumbling sound must be where the term ramblin' sprang from and you capture it musically in the melody and arrangement.......this is an awesome track!!!!! Lyrically, your storyline is prominent in recapturing what must have been happening during the Dust Bowl Days and the Great Depression with Woody Guthrie and a host of others. You have a knack for songwriting that crosses the barrier of time....and timeless is what every great song seems to be in my book....sounding like it could be written in ages gone by or just yesterday!!!! I love everything about this song....your vocals render the spirit of youthful days and that wonder of imagination and the melody fires up the boiler or even the hum of the deisel, until you can find yourself almost kicking back to go along for the ride in that open car with guitar in hand or harmonica at your lips....remarkable piece of work!!!!! Under all the star
