Story behind the song
I dont know about you guys but i can hear an old song on the radio and it takes me back to a certain time in my life and I feel like I did at the time. Songs have also helped me through the hard times as well espeacialy writing them, but also hearing them. You just connect with them. I hear STP "Plush" and I remember 9th grade, songs like that attach themselves to my memories and i remember people places and times that i have forgoten when i hear them.
Lyrics
Take a drive down memory lane see the faces and how they change well the friend they come and go Remember those old flames Nothing stays the same And no one is to blame the weather of life will change and you like the clouds will rearange So turn the radio on find an old song one with all those emotions that always seem to tag along its the song that takes you back the one with all those memories attatched and for a moment in time you traveled back in your mind to a place or a face or a long lost love case lennon and cobain dylan or that guy from stained who ever it may be penning the soundtrack to your life you listen to what they say and it gets you through the days and plays in the background to all the major moments of your life first date, first kiss, graduation marraige and kids, emancipation its the song that takes you back the one with all those memories attatched and for a moment in time you traveled back in your mind to a place or a face or a long lost love case so fall on to all that you once knew waking you up in the mourning singing you to sleep its all right there just underneath its the song that takes you back the one with all those memories attatched and for a moment in time you traveled back in your mind to a place or a face or a long lost love case
