availablefor download at: http://joeym.bandcamp.com/ Fading Life like an open book Worn by the hands of time Tell me the story Of the scheme of things Let me know when the answer unfolds Gone like the wink of an eye Withered and I’m asking why Slip thru my fingers Like a grain of sand While the candle’s melting down Are we fading into sunlight Or just fading till the end of time Are we blowing in the four winds Are we fading into night Are we fading into night Stand at the water’s edge Staring out at the great divide The sons and the daughters Who came and went A universe of life
