A jazzy minor blues tune written during the Great Recession in 2009. Emotional vocals, stinging blues guitar tone.
Story behind the song
The guitar is a Hamer Artist Korina with the stock Duncan '59 pickups. The leads are the bridge pickup. Amp rig was a Mesa Boogie Formula preamp on the clean channel, with the "pushed" boost on for leads, the power amp section of a Fender Super Sonic, and a Reason 2-12 speaker cab with Celestion Greenbacks.
The "pushed" boost on the preamp was turned off and the neck pickup on the same guitar was used for the clean fills in the verses.
Heartfelt lament about the state of things...super blues guitar, raw emotion in the vocals....you da man!
