An amateur Songwriter/Musician a work in progress
I've played in a few cover bands, started off playing lead guitar ended up playing bass, drums and even keyboards a few times and although it was fun never had any great success. I'm now more of an amateur song writer and trying very hard to come up with some songs that might impress someone enough to want to record them.

Story behind the song
Better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all?
Lyrics
Without You 1. We danced in time, Our hearts skipped to the beat We never suffered defeat Our love could take on the world The band played They sang our favourite song We laughed and sang along I was you're boy, You were my girl Chorus How did it all come crashing down Fall from dizzy heights and hit the ground So in the dark without a clue Find myself without you Without you......... my love, Without You x2 2. We spread our wings Our love took it's first flight Like a star burnin so bright Gliding through the heavens above We scaled the heights Looked down on the Earth below Higher and higher we dared to go No limits to our love Bridge We rode the waves, We dreamed our dreams, while others just stood by Time had it's day, no words to say, now I'm left to cry, left to cry 3. Like Northern lights Our love danced across the sky Like Icarus we'd try to fly Reach up and touch the Sun Wrapped up and warm We bathed in its light Had a clear line of sight Two lovers we were on the run
