Some clean guitar, some loud guitar, a little 80's synth, and some Beatlesque harmonies at the end
I got to the point that just didn't have the time or the desire to try to keep a gigging band together.
I wrote all the songs for the last live band I played i
Story behind the song
Just one of a batch of songs that were written at the same time so that the last live band I plan play in had something to play at a gig that was already scheduled. I used to live very close to work and would go home everyday for lunch. i wrote this one on my trusty acoustic ovation guitar while killing time until my lunch break was over.

Lyrics
Walking along not saying a word
The things you didn't say left me disturbed
If it wasn't a game would you give me your name
The way you walk drives me insane
Give me your hand and make a stand
Do you know what you're doing do you have a plan
You wake up in the morning what's the first thing you see
you get up you dress up do you think of me
I know why
Don't leave me behind I'm coming along for the ride
Don't let things unwind I'm trying to see it from the other side
If I can't see I'm blind so I'll try to open my eyes We will know in time and I'll be free like the sky
If we saw us through to the end of the road
what would be waiting a pot of gold
I thinks it's more likely that what we would find
It was the trip all along not what we left behind
I know why
Don't leave me behind I'm coming along for the ride
Don't let things unwind I'm trying to see it from the other side
If I can't see I'm blind so I'll try to open my eyes We will know in time and I'll be free like the sky
I know why
