I got to the point that just didn't have the time or the desire to try to keep a gigging band together.
I wrote all the songs for the last live band I played i
the origins on this song are a little murky. I had the basic chord progression mapped out for years and parts of this tune were used as an instrumental for years. Finally one day my Muse took notice and supplied the lyrics I needed. This was one of the very first songs we recorded when we put the home studio in. It was a lot of fun.

Lyrics
Should have thought on my feet
Things didn't turn out so very sweet
I think it's feeling that way
Not another one another one of those days
Waking up on the floor
Watching the suns last rays
Thinking there had to be more
Not another one another one of those days
Well you go with the flow and you don't really know
The crowds pushing along and you're losing your soul
You're sitting alone just as still as a stone
Well you can't sing along if you can't hear my song
Some would say that you counting your days
Instead of choosing your ways
It all comes back to play
You better watch what you say
It can be twisted someway
I don't think i want anymore
Not another one another one of those days
Waiting for my time to put it on the line
ya never know what you may find
If you're there on time at the front of the line
Just looking for a sign that you're mine all mine
Are you willing to try when you don't know why
Will you make it to the end if it makes you cry
You'll never know you need to move slow
You're moving so fast you can never last
