Growing up in California in the city of Montclair Kartunes goal is not only to become the best, but try to bring exposure for his hometowm musicians from rock to rap. Being known as the "class nerd" in his elementary and middle school, Kartunes approach to rap, is more than rapping about guns and jewelry. Being different and inspiring minds is what Kartunes wants to be known for, with his ability to tell a story and unique style and voice. Also as a producer, Kartunes brings his own sound to the table, putting together instruments not many producers dare to use.
