Story behind the song
I think sometimes people think they have to change themselves and become "perfect" before they can ask Jesus to save them, which in turn keeps people away from Him because it's just too hard to change from bad habits and/or sinful ways on our own. I want everyone to know this is NOT how it works!! Ask first and His Holy Spirit will help you change later! Only He can give us the strength and guidance to truly change.
