One of the lines in this song says: "But there's not safety in numbers on Judgment Day". I'm afraid way too many people don't grasp that, including many that would call themselves Christians but don't bear any fruit that would indicate a real and growing relationship with God. I have a growing concern for those who might hear "Depart from me, I never knew you". We must make our calling and election sure.
If I Could Choose For You
First Verse
I’ve seen choices that you make
The things that are important to you
It seems to me the things of God
Don’t matter very much to you
First Bridge
You’ve got lots of company travelin’ your same way
But there’s not safety in numbers on Judgment Day
Chorus
There’s a narrow road and a broad way
You must choose the one you’ll take
One road leads to life, one just takes your life away
The narrow road’s not always easy
And that broad way is so deceiving
If I could choose for you
If I could choose for you
If I could choose for you
The narrow road is the one we’d take
Second Verse
What direction will you go
Have you really gave it much thought
I wish you’d stop and turn around
Then run to forgiveness at the Cross
Second Bridge
You’ve got lots of company travelin’ your same way
Oh but Jesus is calling, can’t you hear Him say
Repeat Chorus
