1. Let exclamate with love to st. Sava,
The high priest (magistrate) of Serb churches and schools.
Everywhere there are festoons and glory, where is our shepherd Sava,
Let us praise Him, O Serbs Let us sing His hymn thrice!
2. Milesheva (monastery) glorify with body of st. Sava,
glorificated by the Serbs from both side of the (river) Sava,
Synan-pasha has burned in fire the body of st. Sava,
but he never burned the glory and memory of (st.) Sava.
3. That all Serb hearts united with You
Sun of freedom and righteousness to shine to us at once,
To all of us live in love and harmony Help us, O Holy Father Sava!
Hearken the voice of the people, The Serb nation!

1. Uskliknimo s ljubavlju svetitelju Savi,
srpske crkve i skole svetiteljskoj glavi.
Tamo venci, tamo slava, gde nas srpski pastir Sava,
Pojte mu Srbi pesmu i utrojte.
2. Mileseva slavi se telom svetog Save,
koga slave svi Srbi, s' obe strane Save,
Sinan-pasa vatru pali, telo svetog Save spali,
