Mutant Funk -single version
A brand new Lawrence Wise And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra instrumental. Some weird synthesizer bass work, and even weirder percussion.

Story behind the song
The song description kinda says it all. The bass line was laid down earlier this year (mid-January 2009), while the drum track I married it with is the trusty "Hung" line (without the keyboards). Added to it is a pulse effect which is an amplification/modification of the feedback heard in the background of the bass line (talk about being resourceful).
The result: A pretty weird, yet pumpin', Cosmic Funk Orchestra instrumental. A little bit weirder than "You're In HELL, Charlie Brown!!", but also a bit funkier than "Sheer Terror (Too Scared To Scream!)". Just another experimental Lawrence Wise And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra thang.
UPDATE (Friday, May 11, 2012):
Album version of "Mutant Funk" is available on the new Lawrence Wise And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra album for 2012, "Do NOT Try This AT HOME!! (But, Since You're Gonna Do It ANYWAY, Don't Say I Never Warned You!!)".
