Story behind the song
Though I've never doubted the existence of God, I have at times worried he's not listening to me. I wrote this song after traumatic events from my childhood slung me into depression. In the midst of that I called out to God to free me from the bondage of my past. He answered and I am healing in the freedom he gives.
