This is a guitar instrumental in CGDEAD tuning, played fingerstyle.
Eden Water is a small river in the Scottish Borders which flows from a great, still lake in the grounds of Mellerstain House, briefly runs fast through rolling hills and fields, and then is lost in the lower reaches of the Tweed. The instrumental is descriptive of the stream. It is played in an unusual guitar tuning, CGDEad, using a Martin D-18 guitar with some reverb effects. This instrumental was written in such an odd tuning to meet a challenge published in 'Acoustic Guitar' magazine, but did not merit a mention in their pages. Just wasn't generic enough, I guess!
