Story behind the song
Fellow posse member John Lee worked his day job with Dave Owen for decades, and when Dave retired, John wrote, sang and performed the tracks. Dave added background tracks (banjo, backing vocals, shout outs, etc.) and did some production work on it. The song is a heartfelt tribute to John's friend, ally, and "brother", Dave Owen. It won't be too long before John joins Dave in his time of future creativity and freedom!
Lyrics
The lyrics are fairly easy to hear and discern. Lyrics will be posted in the near future.
