Orphée est désormais prisonnier de ses pensées et de son désir fou de danser pour l'éternité avec Eurydice. Il la revoie dans toute son agileté et sa sensualité l'invitant à la rejoindre pour disparaître avec elle. On entend le cliquetis de ses sandales à moins qu'il s'agisse de joyaux brodés sur sa légère tunique.
