Story behind the song
In 1995 the church I was attending would send different ones from our congregation into the
the local prison to minister, either by song or by testimony. I was asked to go. I agreed,This is when
this song was given.
There is alot of me woven thru out the verses, I can relate to someone who is locked up with
no where to turn.One does not have to be in a building made with concrete and iron bars to be in
prison. I pray for our Lord to use this song for his Glory and purpose.
