Story behind the song
The fifth song is about Purple bracelets that our preacher handed out at church one night. The idea is, if you think about complaining you have to shift it from one arm to the other. After 21 days, new habits are supposed to develop….eventually reaching the goals laid out at www.acomplaintfreeworld.org
Note the calypso drum machine pattern and also the church organ that comes in at the appropriate time. By the way, the Waffle Hut is really a Huddle House but I couldn’t figure a rhyme that worked!
We should all try one of these type reminders, I seriously did not realize how much I complained even though I have been thoroughly blessed.
