Welcome to the classical side of Ernie! I consider myself a novice composer. I played alto/tenor sax for 3 years in junior high school, and bass guitar in high school. This was followed by 20 years of on-again/off-again guitar and bass while I focussed on college (Chemical Engineering), career, and family. My family and engineering career are still my primary efforts, but I have started to make time to learn more about music theory and composition. Listen to my music, and let me know what you think. Story behind the song
Wildflower Suite, 1st Movement: A Field Of Daisies (v1, 2007-10-01). Woodwind trio (flute, clarinet, bassoon). Inspired by my parents' field of wildflowers, and the thought of my daughter one day running playfully through them. After releasing the initial version of this music, I received a fortune cookie stating: "When the flowers bloom, so will great joy in your life" -- quite fitting, as composing this song brought me much joy.
