Lying on the Beach
Listening to the sound
As the waves come rolling in
From the distant coast of Spain
And the seagulls ride the winds
Scented by a foreign land
At the end of the summer
Lying in the grass
Looking at the clouds
Vapor tails trace the way
Of the jets that flew today
To a place I’ve never been
And the things I’ve never seen
It’s just another summer
Think I’ll take a walk outside
